These are the questions patients actually ask us — about safety, money, companions, complications and what happens when things do not go to plan — answered the way we answer them in private: directly, without the reassuring fog this industry prefers. They are organized by the stage of the decision you are at, from first research to post-treatment aftercare.
If your question is not here, ask it through the contact page and you will get a straight answer within one working day — and if it is a question we should have published, it will be added. The one answer that never changes: if a procedure is not right for you, Maison will say so plainly, because a treatment that should not happen is not a sale we want.
Planning & booking
How do I start?
Send the free consultation form with your photos and goals. Your assigned patient coordinator replies within one working day with an honest suitability assessment and a written quote — no obligation, no pressure calls.
Is a video consultation available?
Yes. After your photo assessment you can book a video call with your coordinator — and, for surgical cases, a pre-travel call with the treating clinician.
How far in advance should I book?
Two to six weeks is typical. Surgical dates need pre-operative test scheduling; dental and hair visits can often be arranged sooner.
Can I bring a companion?
We encourage it. Your quote includes companion accommodation options, and your coordinator handles both travellers’ logistics — transfers, hotel and appointment scheduling.
Medical & safety
Who performs the procedures?
Procedures are performed by licensed specialists in accredited Istanbul hospitals and clinics. Named doctor profiles with credentials are being finalized for this site; you receive your specific doctor’s credentials in writing with your quote.
What if I am not a good candidate?
You will be told plainly. Declining unsuitable cases is a core policy — a procedure that should not happen is not a sale we want.
What happens if there is a complication?
Your package includes defined complication cover during your stay, and the 90-day aftercare programme gives you a direct escalation line to the medical team once home. Details are set out in writing before you book.
Travel & stay
Is Istanbul safe for medical travel?
Istanbul hosts one of the world’s largest medical tourism sectors, with dedicated international patient hospitals. You are met at the airport, transferred privately, and accompanied by a translator at every medical appointment.
What is included in a package?
Typically: the procedure, hospital fees, transfers, hotel, translator and aftercare programme. Exact inclusions are itemized in your written quote — package contents are being finalized for publication on this site.
Do I need a visa?
Many nationalities enter Turkey visa-free or with an easy e-visa. Your coordinator confirms the requirement for your passport at booking.
Payment
How do I pay?
A deposit secures your dates and the balance is settled before treatment. Online card payment is being enabled on this site; bank transfer details come with your written quote.
Why is Turkey so much less expensive?
Lower operating costs and very high procedure volumes — not lower standards in accredited facilities. Your quote itemizes exactly what you are paying for so you can compare like for like.
Aftercare
What is the 90-day aftercare programme?
Scheduled remote check-ins after you fly home, photo reviews with the medical team, and a direct line for any concern in the first 90 days — the period when questions actually arise.
What if I need attention after 90 days?
Your coordinator remains your contact point; longer-horizon reviews (like hair-growth milestones at 6 and 12 months) are built into the relevant programmes.
